Peninsula Emergency Medical Services Inc. (PEMSI) is a not for profit service contracted by Galveston County Emergency Services District #2 to provide 911 Emergency Medical Services to citizens and visitors to the Bolivar Peninsula.
PEMSI provides "911" ambulance coverage to the Bolivar Peninsula with 3 Mobile Intensive care Units dispatched by Galveston County Sheriffs Department and well staffed with the latest cardiac care technology available. PEMSI responds to calls year around.
In addition to providing Emergency Medical Transports PEMSI is dedicated to providing outreach education to the citizens and visitors to Bolivar Peninsula. Our outreach program offers a variety of courses that can help you be better prepared for emergency situations.
The mission of Peninsula Emergency Medical Services is to continue the tradition of excellence by protecting and enhancing the quality of life for our citizens and visitors through a strong commitment to providing progressive, highly trained and properly equipped personnel.
