Peninsula Emergency Medical Services (PEMSI) is a, "Not for Profit", Emergency Medical Service that is contracted by Galveston County ESD #2 to provide 911 Emergency Medical Services to the citizens and visitors of the Bolivar Peninsula.

Peninsula EMS provides both 911 ambulance coverage to its citizens and visitors that live and play on the Bolivar Peninsula.  PEMSI has 4 MICU Capable units in our fleet with 3 Mobile Intensive Care Capable Units and one supervisor unit staffed 24/7/365 which are dispatched by Galveston County Sheriff’s Department Communications Center, responding to approximately 700+ calls per year.

Peninsula EMS, Inc. is currently seeking Texas Certified EMT-Paramedic(s) or Texas Licensed Paramedic(s).  We are in search of energetic, highly motivated individuals that want to make a difference in our community. Basic and Advanced EMT level applicants also being accepted for part-time status.

Peninsula EMS covers approximately 35 square miles. The Bolivar Peninsula is located 50 miles south of Houston on Highway 87.

Applicants must possess a clear Texas Driver License, pass an extensive background check, be drug-free and have the ability to face an interview panel.
